In Memoriam: Nicole Anne Caplan-Mason, Esq. (1986-2024)
Nicole Caplan-Mason, a diligent and conscientious trial attorney, aided seriously injured people with getting the compensation and care they need in Vaccine Act cases. Prior to joining the Law Office of Sylvia Chin-Caplan, LLC, Nicole worked in the telecommunications industry where she helped a major American wireless company navigate federal, state, and municipal regulations for building and upgrading cellular installations. Prior to working in telecommunications, Nicole practiced at two Boston law firms where she was engaged on municipal tax matters and vaccine cases.
Nicole earned a Bachelor of Arts from Franklin and Marshall College and a Juris Doctor, with honors, from Suffolk University Law School. While attending law school, Nicole served as a student attorney in the Juvenile Defenders Clinic representing indigent minors in criminal proceedings before the Boston Municipal Court. Nicole also clerked for a law firm where she worked on vaccine matters.
Nicole was a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association and the Vaccine Injured Petitioners Bar Association. She was admitted to practice before the Supreme Judicial Court for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, the United States Court of Federal Claims, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
It is with profound sadness to notify you that Attorney Nicole Caplan-Mason has passed away. If you are an existing client of the Law Office of Sylvia Chin-Caplan, LLC, please rest assured that our attorneys, Sylvia Chin-Caplan and Timothy Mason, are still advancing your case in the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (NVICP).
